Santorini – Where The Earth Moves

Formed by one of the largest volcanic eruptions in the world, Santorini sits upon an underwater caldera; the remnant of a collapsed volcano. The whitewashed, cubist homes of its two largest villages, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs overlooking the Aegean and its pristine beaches. Firostefani and Imerovigli are also beautiful spots with traditional architecture.

Oia – Get On Your Donkey

Walk, hire a scooter (or donkey!) to explore the rugged landscape of the village of Oia. Perched at the very top of Santorini, here you’ll find the most breathtaking views available on the island, along with a vineyard, only too happy to welcome guests for an exquisite lunch or dinner.

Situated on the north of the island, Oia is a traditional fishing village with pretty rows of house, blue domed churches and plenty of bars and cafes. Quieter than its sister village, Fira, Oia is the sort of place you go to take in the beauty, stroll, and feast on local fish. Home to many artists, you’ll find art galleries, along with a maritime museum and the vestiges of a Venetian fortress.
