Australia's largest national park, at 20,000 sq km, a three hour drive from Darwin, it is a spectacular croc-infested wetland, with scrub lands full of kangaroo and Aboriginal rock art.
Some areas are inaccessible in the Wet season (Oct-Mar), June to mid-August is best for wildlife-watching.
