Witnessing the Wildebeest migration and watching the huge river crossing with wildebeest stampeding to get across the crocodile and hippopotamus infested waters was exciting. But to also observe two separate close encounters where lions stalked and killed the wildebeest, we could hear the lion’ panting, is an experience I will never forget. I can highly recommend taking a Hot Air Balloon ride of the Masai Mara, the thrill of floating 1000 feet about the beautiful savannah and seeing the abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat and the chance to witness the Wildebeest migration in full swing from above, followed by a Champagne breakfast cooked on the plains of the Masai Mara is surreal and breathtaking. A must do experience not to be missed.
