So many unique experiences are waiting – delicious food, beautiful nature, Christmas presents and, of course, a very special meeting with real elves and Santa Claus in the most secret location in Lapland – Santa Claus Secret Forest also known as Joulukka!

We have one other tour staying at the Arctic Treehouse Hotel during the Winter 2018 – 2019.

Day 1 – 23 Dec: Arrive Rovaniemi and transfer to the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel

Arrive in Rovaniemi airport and transfer to Arctic Treehouse Hotel. If you arrive early, lunch at the hotel’s restaurant.

Freshen up in your room and don your winter gear. Head out for some snow angel making and explore the nearby winter wonderland.

Day 2 – 24 Dec: Husky ride through the wilderness, then a special Christmas Eve program

The friendly barks of the huskies welcome you to the local farm but as soon as the safari of dogs departs from the farm, the dogs quiet down and start to work. Enjoy the surrounding nature and the sledge ride in silence. Stop for a break in the wilderness and take photos. We drive two persons per team, but there is a possibility to change the driver along the way. The average length of the trail is 12-17 km, but the weather conditions and the skills of the participants may affect the length of the ride.

Lunch will be served on your return to the hotel and the early afternoon is yours.

At 4pm, you will be picked up again and taken on a bus ride through the snowy forest inhabited by fluffy bunnies and cute squirrels, a ride that will take you to the best-guarded secret of the elves – Santa Claus Secret Forest!

The Elves are very kind creatures and they need your help with one of the most important tasks: the annual Christmas feeding of the animals! If we are lucky we might even see some of the shy creatures behind the trees in light of our torches!

Santa Claus Secret Forest is full of beauty and splendor, but finding the right Christmas tree can be a little difficult. Luckily the Elves have their favourite spots in the forest and soon the tree is found! When it is set and lit up we can decorate it together and dance and sing around it! If your singing is as cute as the elves’ Santa Claus himself will come to greet you, wish you a very Merry Christmas and, of course, give you a nice present – a memento to take home and remind you of your trip to Lapland.

After the forest adventure you will go back to the hotel in the fun company of the elves! Here, in a cozy warm restaurant delicious warm Christmas dinner is already waiting! Eat well, smile and laugh with the elves, hug and kiss – isn’t that the best Christmas plan ever!?
