A colourful, lively town mostly populated with indigenous Ecuadorian’s, in a farming region. The city is famous for its handmade textiles, crafts, wooden artefacts, leather and local goods.
Take a walk through the markets and grab a bargain, or hit one of the local restaurants or food stalls and try some local dish like Guineapig. Locals are lovely and always love to have a dance on the streets.
