A blank canvas for 11 months of the year, this arid semi-desert area on Stonehenge Farm, approximately 300km north of Cape town, on the longest stretch of road in South Africa, erupts for a brief period in April. A spectacular result of the creative expression of participants who gather for this annual event in the Tankwa Karoo to create a temporary city of art, theme camps, costume, music and performance.
