Jaipur Kite Festival

Jaipur is the land of fairs and festivals. The kite festival is observed to mark the transition of the sun from "Sagittarius" to "Capricorn" and is considered very auspicious. The traditionally pink city turns colourful with the sky full of beautiful kites. Local people celebrate with a morning swim and sweet sugary delights.
