The Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral, is a church in Red Square and one of Russia’s most famous tourist attractions. The building, now a museum, is officially known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat.
You don’t really need to plan ahead to visit here as most people are only interested in the outside of the building and lines for touring inside tend to be smaller. If you do go inside, a video or photography pass is not worth the money unless you have extra lighting as can be very dark in places.
