Amazing town on the Nile – home to unbelievable temples. The Abu Simbel temples are two massive rock temples situated on the bank of Lake Nasser. At the sun temple, the sun enters the temple to illuminate statues of King Rameses II and two sun gods.
Go early to be there at sunrise. Enjoy a drink at a bar overlooking the Nile. Take a sail on a felucca, (traditional wooden sailing boat).
