Loch Ness Fishing

Fishing on Loch Ness is peaceful, tranquil and quiet, the air is fresh and invigorating and the scenery is simply stunning. From your fishing boat, you will enjoy a great view of the mighty Urquhart Castle and the mountains beyond while fishing for brown trout, salmon, ferox trout and arctic char.

Staff Tip / Emma O'Kane

Even if you have never fished before, this is by far the best way to see Loch Ness for a true Scottish experience.  The Loch Ness Clansman is right on the banks of Loch Ness so is literally a 2 minute walk to the “Time Bandit” fishing boat where your experienced Ghillie awaits.  Whilst taking in all the beautiful scenery, you will also hear all tales that Loch Ness has to offer and might even catch a glimpse of “Nessie”.  If you are lucky enough to catch a fish, then the Clansman hotel are happy to cook up for you.
