Also start very early in the morning to visit these special places. I actually stood in the Louvre in front of the Mona Lisa – the only person!! A memory of a lifetime. Arriving into Florence and Venice – both very early (well around 0800 – not that early!!).

I had those magical cities to myself – wandering the streets and absorbing the sights without the crowds and escorted groups. By 1000 they had arrived. As in life, timing is the essence. Bon voyage.
