Havasupai means people of the blue-green waters. Havasu Falls, Navajo Falls and Mooney Falls are located in the south rim of the Grand Canyon, on the Havasupai Indian Reservation. Havasu Falls is a gorgeous oasis in this remote part of the Grand Canyon, the blue colour in the water from the magnesium. This is one of those rare places that is truly unique and worth the effort of getting there. Try to visit between March and June to avoid possible monsoonal conditions and flash flooding.
Be prepared - reserve a camping spot and pack mule in advance.
